Our university was established in the Alanya district of Antalya in accordance with the “Additional Article 161” added to Law No. 2809, pursuant to Law No. 6640 titled “Law on the Organization of Higher Education Institutions and Amendments to Certain Laws and Decree Laws”, which was adopted by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on March 31, 2015, and published in the Official Gazette on April 23, 2015.
Our unit was established by the decision of the University Executive Board dated August 2, 2021, and is responsible for carrying out activities in accordance with its Directive, within the scope of the Energy Efficiency Law No. 5627 dated April 18, 2007; the Regulation on Increasing Efficiency in the Use of Energy Resources and Energy, published in the Official Gazette dated October 27, 2011 and numbered 28097; and the Regulation on Energy Performance of Buildings, published in the Official Gazette dated December 5, 2008 and numbered 27075. In line with these regulations, the unit is tasked with directing and promoting services and activities related to energy efficiency in public institution buildings.
